Corporate Social Responsibility
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
As an organisation, we actively seek to balance our commercial activities with a corporate social responsibility programme that includes the following:
Liverpool Law Clinic At The University of Liverpool
Liverpool Law Clinic is a pro bono initiative organised and run by the School of Law at the University of Liverpool. It was established in October 2007 to provide law students with the opportunity to take part in hands-on legal work for the benefit of members of the local community (including staff and students of the University of Liverpool). The service is provided by students under the supervision of professionally qualified legal practitioners from Liverpool and its surrounding areas.
We are proud to have been involved with and supported Liverpool Law Clinic since September 2012.
Further information is available at: www.liv.ac.uk.
Professional Mentoring Scheme At The University Of Liverpool
The Professional Mentoring Scheme at the University of Liverpool is designed to support and enhance the student experience. Law students meet regularly with a qualified solicitor or barrister, who has agreed to act as a professional mentor, with the ultimate aim to provide guidance and increase employability.
Richard Bennett, a Solicitor & Partner at Bennett Williams Solicitors, has acted as a professional mentor to law students at the University of Liverpool since October 2015.

Women’s Enterprising Breakthrough
Women’s Enterprising Breakthrough is a charity that was set up in 1993, by Birkenhead-based women, to provide a community-based support network to those suffering from domestic violence, mental health and anxiety issues.
Gaynor Williams, a Solicitor & Partner at Bennett Williams Solicitors, has been a trustee of Women’s Enterprising Breakthrough since September 2013 and provides pro bono advice to the charity on all legal and associated matters.
