Bennett Williams Solicitors would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Emma Nielson and Sarah Deakin, both final year law students at the University of Liverpool, on becoming Regional Winners of The Client Interviewing Competition for England and Wales.

The Client Interviewing Competition for England and Wales is a competition for law schools in England and Wales.  Law students, working in teams of two, interview and advise a ‘client’ – a role-playing actor – and this year’s them is small businesses.

The Regional Finals took place on 7 February 2015 in London, Birmingham and Sheffield.  Emma and Sarah, representing the University of Liverpool, came top of the Sheffield heats, scoring 200 points and staving off competition from eleven other institutions including the University of Leeds and the University of Newcastle to take top spot and become Regional Winners.

The National Finals will take place on 7 March 2015 at the University of Sussex.  The National Winners will receive a trophy and a prize from The Law Society and be invited to compete in the 2015 Brown Mosten International Client Consultation Competition, which will take place from 13 to 15 April 2015 in Lincoln, Nebraska, in the United States of America.

Good luck Emma and Sarah!
